About Us

Who we are

Established in 1984, Arachne is a community-based charity in Islington. Our mission is to empower women and help them reach their full potential. We do this by providing free welfare advice and support, health awareness and information, employment advice and training, accessible groups and classes, and volunteering opportunities. We also work to increase the understanding of and celebrate Greek and Greek Cypriot culture.

A society where women can realise their full potential and keep the Greek and Greek Cypriot culture alive.
